Which ever way you look at it, Bournemouth is a great place to visit!

Airplane:  We have a local airport

Trains: Regular service

Bournemouth is in the south of England in the beautiful county of Dorset. It is easily accessible from all parts of Britain and the world.

There is an international airport a few miles outside the town for those arriving out of Britain.

There are direct trains to Bournemouth from all over Britain as well as Waterloo (London ). The railway station has recently been restored to it’s former Victorian glory. Located ½ mile from the town centre taxis and buses are located close by to take you to your hotel or conference venue.

National Express Coaches run a network of coaches into Bournemouth. Located alongside the railway station it is only a few minutes away to the heart of Bournemouth. At the travel interchange you will find an accommodation booking office run by very friendly staff only to happy to help you.

Cars:  Quick access from motorways

Coaches:  A fast efficient service

Once in the town there is a network of buses running across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. There are also express services to Southampton and Salisbury. In the summer months enjoy the open bus service to Swanage, Compton Acres and along the cliffs of Bournemouth.

There is also an open top guide bus that takes you around the town where places of interest are pointed out.

Down on the seafront  the ever popular land train runs linking up the seven miles of sandy beach. Children and adults love it and it saves your feet! For those who find the cliffs too much the “cable car” lifts on the East and the West sides are there to take the strain!

During the spring and summer months enjoy a leisurely boat trip down to Swanage, Isle of Wight or round the spectacular Poole harbour on one of the Dorset Belle pleasure boats. From August to September an old paddle steamer “the Waverley” runs trips from Bournemouth Pier. (In fact one of the reasons piers were built were to give resorts without harbours the opportunity for people to enjoy boat trips.

Bournemouth is a place  to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the scenery, to relax in the parks and the gardens and to enjoy the experience of a holiday in a traditional English seaside resort, for most times of the year. The  climate belongs somewhere much further south.11 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches with lifeguards stationed near the busy areas
