Language Schools

You will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the school, and our facilities include 2 multi-media IT centres with free access to the Internet and e-mail, as well as a designated Laptop connection room.

  Accommodation is provided with carefully selected host families, one of the best ways to learn English outside the classroom. Your accommodation includes a single room, breakfast and evening meal Monday to Friday and full board at weekends. BBSI also organises a full social programme including excursions, cinema and theatre evenings, sports and leisure activities. .

Diploma and University Foundation Courses

Longer-term Diploma courses are intended for adult learners developing their careers, and include a full range of business subjects, plus computers, science and technology, law, travel & tourism and medicine. Work placements are also provided in these areas.

• Our University Foundation programmes are available in all the above subjects, and achieve total success in placing students in universities of their choice, for which we achieve wide recognition from UK universities. Shorter-term summer courses (2 weeks minimum) are also focussed on business, and are particularly suited to working people who want to improve their Business English in a short time.

 Other specially tailored programmes include courses for Military, Government, and Aviation. We quote for these courses on request.  The school is located in the heart of Bournemouth town centre, with immediate access to all the shops, restaurants and other town facilities, and it is a short walk through the park to the famous beach.

Language Schools

• During your stay in the UK we hope you will never require medical or welfare assistance. However, should you need assistance in this regard, our Welfare Officer will assist in all welfare matters, e.g. appointments with doctors, dentists, opticians etc. Our staff are sympathetic to students’ personal problems and are experienced in handling and solving the various difficulties that can arise when living away from home. Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site It is the only natural World Heritage site in Britain and ranks alongside the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon. This England's first natural World Heritage Site - it is known as The Jurassic Coast. It covers 95 miles of truly stunning coastline from East Devon to Dorset, with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history. World Heritage Sites are places of ‘outstanding universal value' selected by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation).

Old Harry Rocks Dorset is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a fantastic variety of sandy beaches, towering cliffs and unspoilt countryside. Old Harry Rocks are chalk stacks located directly east of Studland and to the north of Swanage in Dorset. Nearby and to the north are the larger towns of Poole and Bournemouth. The rocks are part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site of which they form the eastern end. It is also believed that the rocks were once connected to The Needles on the Isle of Wight. Boat trip excursions are available from Bournemouth pier in the summertime.

Parking: Not normally a big problem in Bournemouth, with lots of free and ample parking areas which are convenient to walk from. Bournemouth's terrific beaches, shops, pubs, clubs and cinemas all have handily placed "Pay and Display" multi-storey car parks.
