This is the base for both the Solent School of Flying and Bournemouth Helicopters. You’ll have access to flight planning and weather information, and can book out with ATC. Coffee is permanently on tap, and the social element is strong. Not only the normal pilots’ cameradie and banter, but it is a very supportive atmosphere. There is a range of social events, ranging from BBQs to fly-away weekends at great destinations.
